NMITE (New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering) is a different kind of higher education provider – built to do things differently, for people who want to learn by doing and start making a real impact from day one. Based in the heart of Hereford, we’ve designed a learning experience that feels more like the workplace than the classroom – with small teams, real-world projects, and no traditional lectures or end-of-year exams. It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and focused on what really matters – developing the confidence, skills, and mindset needed to thrive in today’s world.

Our courses have been developed with employers to match the needs of industry – right now and into the future. You can choose from BSc (Hons) Construction Management, BEng (Hons) Integrated Engineering, MEng (Hons) Integrated Engineering (Accelerated), MEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering (Accelerated), or begin your journey with our Foundation Year. Our accelerated MEng degrees allow you to complete a Master’s in just over three years – getting you into industry sooner, with less student debt. The Foundation Year is ideal if you’re keen to join NMITE but need a stepping stone to get started – no A Levels in Maths or Physics required.
